New Version of "Strawberry Fields"?!

did you hear the new version of "Strawberry Fields" I played in the 11am hour? Oh my gawd......I am a purist when it comes to music so when I heard and read about the new "Beatles" Cirque du Soleil show out in Las Vegas, "Love", I immediately turned up my nose. How could ANYONE remix the music of the holy grail? Even if it is Beatle's producer George Martin. How could Yoko let that happen? She is, after all, John Lennon's "keeper of the flame". How could they besmirch the sanctity of the Beatles with a Vegas show ? There was no way I would EVER go see that show, as I am as likely to visit Las Vegas as I am to eat a pile of fried clams...as in, not at all. And then I listened to the song. I heard the gentleness George Martin and his son Giles applied to this majestic piece of art; with an exquisiteness of timing and years of working with John, Paul, George and Ringo, George and his son took early demos of John singing "Strawberry Fields" and combined them with what you hear on your Magical Mystery Tour Album and....well, please don't tell my children, but....I was wrong...this new version is stunningly beautiful and I can't wait to hear what they've done with the rest of the material when the new album, "Love", comes out November 21st; and hopefully what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas cos I'd even be open to going to the show....as long as it's not in Vegas.
