Have you ever held a mirror up in front of another mirror to see how far the reflection goes? It goes forever. I didn't understand the full breadth of "forever" until I lost someone really close to me. It was March of '95 when my younger brother passed away. He had aids and even though it was a long illness and it was "expected" that he'd "go", I was still stunned when he actually "left"...forever.
With the recent passing of my close friend and co-worker, Victor K., I am again reminded of the finality of death and the questions that surround "leaving". Where do we go? Do we know we're going? How do we feel about that? Sages and philosophers have attempted to explain it since the beginning of time and sometimes when I'm reading one of the many books on the subject, I trick myself into thinking I understand. But when it happens to someone close to me, someone I'll never, ever see again, in this context, on this planet, I don't. I know we are all energy; I believe we have many lifetimes; I don't believe our spirits or souls actually "die"...but I can't wrap my mind around where we actually "go"...and why we exist in the first place. Another good friend of mine reminds me often, in reference to death, "ya know, the older you get, the more this is gonna happen". Awesome.

I don't know if you have read any of Sylvia Browne's books, but she write a lot about energies and everything. I think it is quite interesting. Maybe you should pick some books up and check them out. I don't understand it all myself, but if we did, what would be the purpose of being here? I'm sorry for your losses. Wherever everyone goes when they leave, I'm sure they're all watching us from there shaking their heads and laughing at us for the ridiculous things we do..lol.
Hmmm...do spirits have heads? Well Sylvia Browne says they do.. ok..so shaking their spirit heads and laughing at us.. just to clear up any confusion..ha

I write you this personal letter with much love and affection for you and my intentions are not to anger, mislead, or be malicious toward you but to tell you the truth. About what? Read on..........
Before we get going, I would like to ask that you promise to do a few things for yourself: 1) DO NOT DELETE this at all because you may (hopefully not) need to refer back to it in the future; 2) do not listen to the lies that will immediately flood your mind telling you to delete this and,3)it is lengthy so you may want to read a bit, walk away, think about it quietly, and then come back to read some more. I have included footnotes at the end so that you can check it out for yourself.
I chose to write you today to inform you of an event that could occur in our lifetime. If not, then you still need to be prepared for your future. Stay with me because the story has a happy ending if you say yes to a free gift.
As horrific as 9/11/01 was and of those live television pictures that will be etched in our minds of the two planes crashing into the Twin Towers and people jumping to their deaths from the buildings, what will certainly happen at any time now will be the worst disaster this world has ever seen. I tell you this not to scare or upset you but to prepare you so that you can be ready!
If you aren't ready and take this seriously, it will cost you your life. If you take it seriously and realize that it will happen, then you will be spared the devastation!
As I continue to tell you what it will be, I pray that you will have your eyes opened and your hearts receptive and see the urgency. Do not laugh this away because you need to know what is surely going to happen!
When this event does happen, if you say yes to an invitation later on in this letter, then you will be taken away and not experience any calamity. But, if you say no, then you will be left behind!
When this supernatural event happens, you may be at home, work, riding in some form of transportation whether it be a car, train, bus, airplane, etc. or happen to be fortunate enough not to be involved where injury or certain death will happen. There will be, in a twinkling of an eye,<(footnote #1) crashes of such modes of transportation into buildings, off freeways, each other, etc. as of the result of no one being present in their driver seats. In showing no insensitivity, compared to this worldwide scene of complete chaos, 9/11 will be just a wake-up call. Once everyone has calmed down, and, who knows how long that will take, people will then discover some other supernatural event that has occurred at the same time as the crashes........... millions of graves will have big holes in the ground and no remains will be found Sound far-fetched or unreal? Also, those people who have told you personally about trusting in Someone for your salvation are no longer around. Where are they? How did it all happen? Ok, if you are still with me this far, I will tell you what's next.
What has happened is a taken away of those who have trusted in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior to heaven where they will be while the earth goes through a seven year period where of calamity that this world has never experienced.<(footnote #1A) But many great occurances will also happen during this time. I will not go into great detail what will happen but I will say what is important for those left behind need to know. The books of Daniel in the Old Testament and Revelation in the New Testament in the Bible go into greater detail. For those who are left behind, you will not be able to buy, sell, nor eat unless you take the mark of the beast(666)on your foreheads or on your arms. IF THERE IS NOTHING THAT I HAVE SAID ALREADY THAT YOU ACCEPT AS TRUTH, GET THIS STRAIGHT IN YOUR MINDS AND HEARTS, DO NOT TAKE THE MARK NO MATTER HOW APPEALING IT WILL BE. THOSE LEFT BEHIND WILL BE VERY HUNGRY AND SO TEMPTED TO TAKE THE MARK, BUT IT WILL BE BENEFICIAL FOR YOU TO DIE FOR YOUR FAITH IN JESUS ONLY. I know that this all seems unbelievable, depressing, morbid, gloomy, etc. but stay with me and I will tell you what the remedy is. In the meanwhile, God will send two witnesses to the earth<(footnote #2) and they will prophesying for individuals to repent from their sins for a duration of 3 1/2 years. There is an antichrist alive today who, halfway through the 7 yr. period, called the Great Tribulation, will rebuilt the temple in Jerusalem that has been torn down and will claim himself to be the Messiah. DO NOT BELIEVE HIS CLAIMS AND RUN IMMEDIATELY FAR AWAY! At the end of the Tribulation, Jesus and His followers will descend from heaven and battle the evil armies at the Mount of Olives in the holy land. Jesus will slay the armies by just speaking the Word of God.<(footnote #3) The earth that we know will be destroyed and a NEW HEAVEN and EARTH will now be present where those who have trusted in Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior will dwell with God for ETERNITY......... think of it, FOREVER!
Now that I have highlighted a little bit of the end of this world, let's now rewind to the beginning of how mankind got in this predicament in the first place.
I need to ask you if there is anyone or anything is this life that can be trusted that will never fail us? Is there anything that is infallible?(incapable of error; dependable, reliable) Yes, only Jehovah God and His Word(the holy Bible). So now that we agree or disagree, we need to take a refresher exam and be retrained in our minds from erroneous teachings that have invaded our churches from when we were very young to now.
In the first book of the Bible in Genesis God created for six days and rested on the 7th but created Adam and then Eve. He placed them in the Garden of Eden and told them not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. A serpent came by and twisted everything that God told Eve not to do and she did eat and what they happened, sin entered the world and future generations of people were born with a sin nature that is an enemy to God and His Holiness. So with us, we are born spiritually separated from God and the punishment is spiritual death. So God in His master plan came up with a remedy to redeem mankind back to himself so Jesus was born and became the Savior of the world to those who believe.<#4
DO NOT BE DECEIVED! You can only be saved by being reborn(born-again) with God's Spirit as Jesus told a "religious"<(who knew all the man-made rules and regulations) man named Nicodemus in John 3:3-6 He wasn't talking about a physical death but of a spiritual rebirth. One who is not reborn(the Bible calls them a natural man) cannot understand the Word of God without the aid of the Holy Spirit that is given to the believer at conversion.
Lucifer was an angel who was in charge of the music in Heaven but he wanted to be like God and got kicked out of Heaven down to this earth. One third of the angels that rebelled with him were also cast down and his new name then became satan who then decided that he will now get back at God to deceive God's precious creation of mankind from knowing the Truth. Think of it.......... if we come to the realization that the penalty of our sins is spiritual separation from God, then where do you think the end result of destination will be? Well, a place where total darkness is where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth where there is certainly no party where many say they will have. Many people ask, "Is God claims to be so full of love, how can he send me to such a terrible place?" He doesn't but an individual's UNBELIEF does. God is willing that no one perishes but comes into the knowledge of His truth. ETERNITY........ think of it.......... ETERNITY........ that's forever!
No one knows except God when this event will happen that I mentioned earlier not even Jesus. God is very patient that He wants no one to perish<(#5 footnote) When we all give an account to God for our lives, many will say that they did this and that but He will ask us what we did with the death and resurrection of His Son. Did we trust in Jesus for our salvation or in some other method? Jesus said that "I am the Way, the Truth, the Life; no one comes to the Father but by me." John 3:36 says, "He that believes on the Son has everlasting life; and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him."
God will either be your Savior or Judge.......... we make the choice!
We are not guaranteed tomorrow........... what if you took your last breath tonight? Physical death is not the end.......... are you ready and have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ? If not, then you can be sure right now. Don't lie to yourself and say that you will do it later on. If you don't do it now, odds are that you won't. WE CANNOT SAVE OURSELVES.... if we could, then why did Jesus willingly go to the cross to die in your place taking upon Himself our sins. The Bible says that NOW is the acceptable time to be saved. As honorable as they are, living a good life and doing good works are not the requirements for being saved for none of us are righteous, says Romans in the Bible.
A thought: If Jesus is not who He claims He is, the Savior of the world, then when people swear why aren't the words out of their mouth, Mohammed or Alah? Everything that God creates for His pleasure, the enemy of our souls.... the evil one(devil), will pervert and try to throw back in the face of God.
I will lovingly warn you, then if you do not submit to the authority of Jesus Christ now, you will in the end because in Revelation is says that "every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father." Now that you know the plan of redemption for your soul, what will be your choice? If you want to say the sinner's prayer, you can use your own words in your conversation with God or I can give you a quick prayer to repeat: "Dear God, I realize that I am a sinner and cannot save myself. I accept Jesus Christ as Savior and accept Him into my heart." In Jesus' name, Amen.
Now that you have done so, it's important that you get yourself a Bible and a good place to start is the book of John or start with a verse here or there to understand more deeply the ways of God. Don't try to read too much! Also, to join a Bible believing church where the liberating Word of God is taught so that you can grow in your new walk. HI julie I'm bill, this blog helped me remember a few lost family members an friends that have passed on , but this guy steve is waiting for the next comet to fly by, I can understand how people fall in love with there religion(S)but come on . in the end ? I think it's just over. There won't be a grave for me I don't want it my life has been wonderful ,No regrets, great family and kids lots of friends some still with us some chased a comet in the night , I morn the losse and leave it , that's the way I want my end to be JUST OVER. If someone hoist a glass to me after I'm gone thank you very much
but we need more love and compassion here know not later after we are gone , and spare me the injustices that bring forth Religion in the end,
My time and our time here on this planet is blink of the eye compared to how long this planet has been here. billions of years of evolution and we are but a small part of it , Did the Dinosaurs have religions ?? did they go to a different heaven than my Dad? can he send me a picture?I don't want you to think I'm a antireligion everyone can have there own choice, but people shouldn't be telling you only there Religous beliefs are the only true ones when we have so many to choose from shame on you steve , I'll watch your NIKES for you while you follow the next Comet thanks bill
