Is this really what it's about?

tonight when you get home and watch the news, you'll see the people who camped out for days to get the new playstation 3, pushing each other out of the way to get thru the open doors of the store first; you'll see some of them being restrained by police officers out in, I think it was California, because they got too rambunctious. You'll hear how the newest holiday "must have" is going for almost twenty times on e-bay what it actually goes for in stores. Is this what "Christmas" is about now? And those guys going to the stores demanding the employees put the "Christmas" back in the holiday season or they won't shop there. Is this what "Christmas" is about now? Does it really matter what they call "Christmas" at the mall? I thought "Christmas" was about sharing time with your family and for some of the more religious in our culture, celebrating the birth of a man who stood for Peace on Earth and Good Will Towards Men (and women). Does it really matter what the mega store down the road calls your celebration? You know what your holiday means to you and your family. If they really want to put "Christmas" back into the holidays, why aren't they out volunteering at homeless shelters or food pantrys or stopping into nursing homes to visit an eldery person who has no family to visit with on "Christmas". Happy Holidays.....
